There are some couples where I remember all the details of our first meeting, down to what I was wearing and where we sat. Elise & Scott are one of those – we met in a Starbucks in Quakertown because they are in Easton, about an hour and a half from me. I remember walking in and seeing them, where we sat, and the fact that I was wearing yellow shoes and that it was so AMAZING because Elise was using yellow as one of her wedding colors (Gosh, when I write that out it sounds like love at first sight…haha…and then the birds starting chirping and music started playing…just kidding). I was so happy to work with them, we had a great time doing their engagement session (dare I say it – another favorite!) in Easton and before we knew it it was wedding time and we were back there again! They had a beautiful ceremony, followed by a photo-stop in downtown Bethlehem (man, I could have shot here all. day. But the show must go on…) and a rocking reception at the Northampton Country Club where the Melanie Rice Orchestra (who traveled all the way from Atlantic City!) had every. single. guest on the dance floor. Elise and Scott, thank you so much for asking us to share your wedding day with you. Congratulations! AND thanks to the amazing John for returning to the wedding circuit for these last few gigs…I couldn’t have done it without you there…and to Laura, for doing an awesome job second shooting and getting down low when I couldn’t…as always!
